wp-Monalisa Version 1.7
wp-Monalisa ist das WordPress Plugin, das dich anlächelt wie nur Mona Lisa es tut. 
wp-Monalisa ist ein weiteres Smiley-Plugin zur Einbindung beliebiger Smilies in Artikel, Seiten und Kommentare. Dabei soll wp-Monalisa leicht zu bedienen sein und sich in die WordPress-Oberfläche integrieren.
Auslöser für die Realisierung war Barbara, die mir immer wieder versicherte, die bestehenden Plugins seien umständlich zu handhaben, werden nicht mehr gepflegt oder unterstützen nur bestimmte Funktionalitäten zur Einbindung von Smilies auf dem heimischen Blog. So ist dann die Idee von wp-Monalisa geboren worden…es ist einfach, es lächelt, was will man mehr?

Features
- Verwaltung der Smilies in einem eigenen Verzeichnis über den Admin-Dialog
- Smilies können nur für Posts, nur für Kommentare oder für beides zugelassen werden
- Smilies können direkt durch img Tags ersetzt werden

- Ab der Version 1.3 unterstützt wp-monalisa rudimentär auch Multisite-Blogs
- Ab der Version 1.4 bietet wp-monalisa eine Funktion zum besseren Einbinden und Platzieren der Smilies im Kommentarformular (s. Abschnitt 6 im Handbuch oder die ausführliche Erklärung bei Stefan)

WordPress Plugin wp-Monalisa Screencast zum Im- und Export von Smilies
Installation
- Auspacken des zip-Archivs und uploaden in das WordPress-Pluginverzeichnis (wp-content/plugins/), so daß wp-monalisa.php im Ordner wp-content/plugins/wp-monalisa/ landet.
- Aktivieren des plugins über den Plugin-Admindialog.
- Einstellungen auf der wp-Monalisa Admin-Seite vornehmen (auf jeden Fall, sollte die Kommentarfeld ID geprüft werden, besonders bei der Verwendung von eigenen nicht standardisierten Themes)
- Optional: Wer möchte kann die Anzeigestile in der Datei wp-monalisa.css anpassen.
Beim Update sollte das Plugin einmal deaktiviert und dann wieder aktiviert werden, da im Falle von Datenbankänderungen, dies nur dann durchgeführt werden. Die gepflegten Smilies werden dadurch nicht gelöscht. Wer Änderungen am Layout vornehmen möchte, sollte diese durch kopieren der wp-monalisa-default.css nach wp-monalisa.css und dann editieren der wp-monalisa.css vornehmen. Ab der Version 1.0 werden beim Autoupdate von WordPress sowohl die Datei wp-monalisa.css, als auch eventuell vorhandene eigene Smilies im Unterverzeichnis icons geschützt und nicht mehr durch den Autoupdate gelöscht. Dieses Feature greift erstmalig dann mit dem Update auf die Version 1.1 (mit 1.0 sind die entsprechenden Funktionen eingebaut worden).

2009-06-16 v0.5 added dummy version to javascript includes to hide wordpress version, insert smilies with trailing space to make sure the shortcodes can be found, set default smiley to correct file name, now png icons are also supported, surpress showing smilies mor than once if more than one shortcode is defined for the same file, modified column width of column iconfile to 80
v0.6 (2009-08-18) changed readme to support new changelog feature at wordpress.org, new option, smilies can also be output in a table (only for comments), added support for user specific css file to improve support for automatic update, fixed handling of slashes in emoticons, fixed handling of trailing spaces in emoticons

First of all I want to thank you so much for such a wonderful plugin. But I have a small problem and hope you help me to sort out in it.
It works perfectly if smiles inserted automatically (under comments form). But when I turn off the checkmark under Show smilies on comment and add to my comments.php the line , smiles is working only for me (when I logged in as an admin). For my visitors smiles don’t work. They can see smiles and can use them, but smile don’t appear in comments
What the problem could be?

well, I am not sure I understood you correct. when you deactivate “show smilies on comments”, then smilies are deactivated for comments and therefore are not shown. but what exactly do you want to do? and which line did you add to your comments.php? if it is easier for you, you can send me a pm with some screenshots.

ok, I’ll try to explain. By default smiles appear under comment form (under textarea). I would like them to be above textarea. I follow instruction at page http://www.tuxlog.de/wordpress/2009/wp-monalisa-manual/
As a result I get smiles above comment form, but my visitors cannot use them.
It looks like this:
Visitor writes a comment, clicks on smile, the code of smile image appear in textarea (till now everything is ok). Then the commentator click on “Send a comment” button. Comment appear, but smile not.

think I got it now. I just looked at your site and one thing strikes. you have two textarea one of them is hidden. my guess is that this conflicts because both have name id like comment. can you try to deactivate the second hidden textarea. by the way, I understood everything works fine, when you use wp-monalisa the normal way (smilies below the textarea), correct?

Erstmal danke fuer dein Plugin
, zusammen mit den “Gruenen” (oder “Blauen”) klappt das ganz gut auf meinen bald erscheinenden neuen Blog. Ein Featurerequest habe ich dennoch: koenntest Du bei einem naechsten Update die Moeglichkeit bieten, dass man im img tag nebst “alt” auch “title” hat? So hat man einen ToolTip, was bei so manchem Smiley doch nuetzlich ist (und das sieht besser aus, als Text unterm Smiley). Im moment loese ich das mit jQuery (war eine schoene Uebung ;)) aber waere schoen, wenn das von Hause aus ginge.

ein wirklich tolles Plugin, sowas hab ich schon länger gesucht.
Aber ich hab ein kleines Problem. :(
Ich kann die Smilies leider nicht anklicken.
Die richtige ID “comment” ist in der wp-monalisa eingetragen und die ID wird auch nur von textarea benutzt. Zumindest finde ich weder im Quelletext noch in der comments.php einen anderen Eintrag mit “comment”.
Vermutlich ist die Lösung ganz simpel und ich bin nur zu blöd sie zu finden.
Wär schön, wenn mir da wer nen Schubs in die richtige Richtung geben könnte.

wenn ich es richtig gesehen habe verwendest du den fckeditor, der ist nicht standard bei wordpress und wird bislang nicht von wp-monalisa unterstützt. ich fände es aber ganz nett das einzubauen. ich schau mir das mal an und melde mich dann. würdest du das eventuell testen?

Mal ne blöde Frage, könnte man Monalisa so Programmieren, dass wenn die pak Datei hochgeladen wird, die Gif’s automatisch mit draufkommen ?

prima, das es geklappt hat. wie genau stellst du dir das vor? das pak format ist ja fest definiert. generell geht sowas, aber ich kenne keinen standard, der dafür geeignet wäre.

Wirklich ein super Smiley Plugin hast du da zusammengecodet
Ich habe aber ein Problem:
Wenn ich mit einem pak Programm Smileys in eine Pak Datei umwandle, und sie dann hoch zum Server schicke und sie bei Monalisa Lade, dann hab ich immer ganz viele Smileys mit dem bild wpmlbye.gif
Etz könnte man denken es liegt am pak Konverter, liegt es aber nicht, da es komischerweise bei einer anderen Hosterinstallation gegangen ist, habe aber alle Einstellungen so wie vorher
Woran könnte das liegen ?

also auf anhieb hätte ich zwei ideen. die icons fehlen im verzeichnis oder der zeilenumbruch hat ein anderes format dos oder unix. schau doch mal ob sich die datei beim hochladen verändert, weil die zeilenumbrüche automatisch durch den ftp server konvertiert werden.

Are you aware that when you refresh a page where Monalisa is, that when it finishes refreshing, it shoots you down to the bottom of the page, where Monalisa is? On many forms that have an insertion point in the field where you type in your search word, this will do that… shoot the page to wherever the form is, for the blinking insertion point is the “live point” of the page. However, Monalisa does not have an active insertion point. How do I fix this, so it doesn’t shoot to the bottom?

I think thats not the correct conclusion. the url you posted points to an anchor on your page. the anchor is comment-3. that is the reason why the reload brings you down to the bottom of the page. it does not bring you down to monalisa but to the comment on the page. try it with the url without #comment-3 (as I did ) a reload brings you to the position the page was when you hit reload. thats the way I suppose my browser to act anyway. should be the same behaviour with or withour monalisa.
